Oh hey there! Welcome to the blog and unofficial-official website of Alex Watts, general good guy and smiley fun-timer. Alex hates the third-person.
So - I’m a web guy, writer and photographer. Currently, I work for Capture, as ‘social media strategist’, which is a lot more fun than it sounds (but about as pretentious).
In the past, I’ve had work published on whothehell.net, pedestrian.tv, FilmInk, the AU Review, and in Drum Media, Australia’s Year In Music (2010), Australian Portrait Quarterly and The Spit Press.
From time to time I dabble in radio, producing Saturday Breakfast on 2ser and the venerable monthly podcast Hiphoptimists (hosted by Levins and Captain Franco).
Finally, I help Chance Waters make sweet, smile-tastic hip-hop. Banjo is my instrument of choice, but I also roll deep in synth, guitar, and self importance. From time to time I DJ appallingly at corporate events.
