Skittles - Escape From Common Sense

Skittles is one of the most loved brands on the internet, having built a thriving community on their social channels and a loyal fanbase for some of the most recognisable and awarded advertising made in the past 20 years. Working as part of a global team at DDB, alongside Mars’ internal team, we worked to build on that existing fanbase to create a sustainable fandom by accessing new audiences that matter to the brand.

To do this, we built a new strategy with community and commerce at the heart, that embraced the core of what makes Skittles famous - and turned it into a weapon for long term brand building. Some of the work created for this program of work is shared below.
